National Planning Council Organizes Field Training for Qatar University Students

6/16/2025

The Statistical and Data Training Center at the National Planning Council (NPC) has announced the launch of a seven-week field training program for students from the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Qatar University from 16 June to 31 July 2025.

This training aims to enhance students' practical skills and develop their professional competencies, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world job market demands. It also supports building a future-ready workforce, in line with the outcomes of the Third National Development Strategy and the aspirations of Qatar National Vision 2030.

As part of the program, the students will be distributed across various NPC departments where they will gain hands-on experience and complete assigned tasks under the guidance of experienced NPC mentors.

This workshop is part of a broader series of training initiatives led by the NPC, which is tasked with overseeing the implementation and follow-up of the Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030) and for advancing data through the National Data and Statistics Strategy.
